These transition materials are still to come.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Chair will sit down with each of us in turn to speak with us about Emails. This will happen at some point in the following week(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\"><strong>All Black Affair Event:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Annual event, highly anticipated and very much guaranteed a good turnout (according to CVSA).<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Annual event is <em>Party at Night<\/em>, all college students are invited, not just students from URI.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">This event acts as advertising for their organization, to make their club more known to the general student body.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">They are currently asking for money for the DJ which is $350, as well as money for security.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Finance Committee is assuming that Entire Cost will be approximately $2,471. This will need to be brought to the Student Senate, if voted through.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">They are assuming to be charging $5 per person of the URI student body, and $7 per person coming from other schools.\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">They will also be charging concessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\"><em>All money made from this event will first be paid back to the Student Senate, before CVSA makes any money off of it.<\/em><\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">They are planning to have this event on Thursday, October 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\"><strong>Finance Quiz<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Feeney and Lachance should keep working on the Finance Quiz, despite coming up with ten questions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">The new Finance Quiz should be shared to remaining members of the Finance Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MEETING ADJOURNMENT TIME:<\/strong> 7:04 PM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MEETING START TIME: 6:31 PM &nbsp; ATTENDANCE: Committee: Lachance, Taylor, Feeney, Pelisson, Palmer, Vutech Absent: None Non-Committee: Howard &nbsp; COMMITTEE DISCUSSION: &nbsp; Finance Committee Member Emails: Information will be reflected in transition materials.
