&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DATE 03\/09\/19<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEETING START TIME:<\/strong> 5:05PM<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENDANCE: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Committee:<\/strong> Chair Blancheflower, Vice Chair Nelson, Senator Bagley, Senator Menard, Senator McGrath, Senator Padro, Senator Bhat, Senator Degnan, Senator Rumas<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absent:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Non-Committee:<\/strong> Senator Marotta<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISCUSSION: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TOPIC 1: Blue Light Walk<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Want to do it around April because its cold now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TOPIC 2: Engineers for a Sustainable World<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Want to do an initiative to get more reusable water bottles on campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TOPIC 3: Fair for Public Safety<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Every department dealing with public safety on the quad to reduce the stigma against these people and meet them one on one<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Fire department, police officers(from URI, SK, Narragansett, and State), EMS, disability services, parking services, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TOPIC 4: Bus Route<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Trying to get a route that goes all the way to the Women\u2019s Center and Gender and Sexuality Center<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Jay Rumas wants to look into getting all students free RIPTA passes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TOPIC 5: Resolution<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">We want to make a resolution to show that senate supports 138 improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TOPIC 6: We got felt!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Senator Bhat finally got new felt for the pool tables in the MU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Extra:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MEETING ADJOURNMENT TIME: 5:44 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CAMPUS COMMITTEE MINUTES&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
