2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>MEETING START TIME:<\/strong> 2:15 pm<br \/>\n<strong>ATTENDANCE:<\/strong>\u00a0LoBianco, Pavlik, Underwood<br \/>\n<strong>Absent:<\/strong> Meehan<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">We are going to do safety and lighting walk in fall.<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">RIPTA\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Problem \u2013 not timely and personnel<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">We can try to take 2 steps. 1) bring awareness to time of buses 2) RIPTA needs\u00a0to talk to their staff<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">I emailed our RIPTA liaison about tracking system and haven\u2019t received a\u00a0response<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">How are we going to bring awareness to the tracking system?\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Make bright colored signs and ask to put them up at the RIPTA stops\u00a0(need to ask for permission)<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Put signs around Union<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">We should put link to RIPTA survey link at stops (need to ask permission)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Memorial Union \u2013 Two architecture firms are coming to discussion plans for the new\u00a0Union and extending it to Pastore\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Better flow to the building, things need to be more organized<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">New Senate Chambers with an Oval table\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More seating in the back for people to come<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More comfortable chairs in airport lounge<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More things to attract students\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Ping pong, fuse ball<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Giant calendar with all events for the recent month on it that students can easily\u00a0access<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Movie theater<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More spots for advertisement\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More spots for signs<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">More spots for booths which actually access people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Performance stage<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Charging stations for phone<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">A spot for tour guides<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">We should work on potholes<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Pros\/cons\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Pros \u2013 everything is in bloom, Lands and grounds put grass seed down<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Cons \u2013 net around Ellery Pond, garbage on
