J We went through every single apple!<\/li>\n<li>Spirit of Giving \u2013 <b>Patterson<\/b><\/li>\n<li>You adopt a family from Rhode Island and you get a wish list. Get the gifts and drop it of at a location. It doesn\u2019t start until the 13th.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re adopting a family as Senate \u2013 a family with one child! We need to file paperwork to finalize it.<\/li>\n<li>If people want to adopt a family: the form is at the Student Senate office and online as well.<\/li>\n<li>There\u2019s also general donations (like gift cards, etc.), but they\u2019re stressing more on the family than general donations<\/li>\n<li>They need people on December 6th at the University Club to move gifts, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ace of Cakes<\/li>\n<li>Timeline (backwards):\n<ul>\n<li>Dec 3rd: the event<\/li>\n<li>Nov 26th: cakes ordered &#8211; <b>Plante<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Nov 19th: Purchase rec in \u2013 <b>Cicero<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>We want to know who wants to sign up\n<ul>\n<li>Nov 12th- 16th: we want to get a big push campaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Faceboook (events, class page, personal pages)<\/li>\n<li>Booth at the Union and Hope<\/li>\n<li>Talk to directors of academic, staff, etc.<\/li>\n<li><b>14<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> &amp; 15<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> (Wednesday and Thursday) 11AM to 3PM <\/b><\/li>\n<li>Thursday for outside and Wednesday for booth \u2013 <b>Sim\u00a0 <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Nov 6th: Flyers up at the Union, printed \u2013 <b>Sim<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Nov 8th: email push \u2013 <b>Studley &amp; Cicero<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Student Org Presidents, Honors Students, Greek Life, HRL, Staff, Athletics, etc.\n<ul>\n<li>Nov 6th: President\u2019s meeting \u2013 <b>Cicero<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assignments (may be repetitive):\n<ul>\n<li>Finance: cake, frostings, costumes, etc. \u2013 <b>Sit and Cicero<\/b><\/li>\n<li>SEA Approvement \u2013 <b>Sim <\/b><\/li>\n<li>Risk management \u2013 <b>Conboy<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Cake Orders \u2013 <b>Plante<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Cake Costumes \u2013 <b>Conboy and Patterson<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Logistics of the Event\n<ul>\n<li>$10 reservation for cake (2 to 5 people)<\/li>\n<li>Potential to make it into a charity event: not this year.<\/li>\n<li>Team name of the event (not posters!)<\/li>\n<li>Supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 20-30 9in round yellow unfrosted cakes (first 30 teams to sign up)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We need frosting as well from them (two for ten)<\/li>\n<li>Some basic essential items (toppings, caramel, icing, frosting tips, bowls, etc. zip-loc bags,)<\/li>\n<li>Talk to Brit and Studley about supplies\u00a0 &#8211;<b> Cicero <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>We need to assign tables to the groups <b>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>MEETING ADJOURNMENT TIME: <\/b>02:38 PM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MEETING START TIME: 01:30 PM ATTENDANCE:\u00a0 DATE:\u00a0 November 2, 2012 Committee: Cicero, Sim, St. Pierce, Patterson, Conboy, Soloman, Plante Non-Committee: Absent: COMMITTEE DISCUSSION: Thanks to everyone who came to Rhodyville!
