I. President<\/p>\n
a. looked over bill welcoming Dr. Dooley and his wife<\/p>\n
b. ProJo offered us 1 cent per paper- hard offer to refuse<\/p>\n
1. maybe we could get the New York Times as well<\/p>\n
c. They were supposed to replace all the newspaper machines over the summer; not sure<\/p>\n
if they did or not.<\/p>\n
d. Dr. Dooley coming to public forum on 9\/23<\/p>\n
e. Dr. Dooley is doing a meet and greet with different organizations at his house soon.<\/p>\n
f. Dave met with athletics; we are going to do a lot to support them and advertise,<\/p>\n
especially around basketball season.<\/p>\n
1. brought back tailgating<\/p>\n
g. homecoming is 10\/13-10\/17<\/p>\n
1. Lowell booked concert the same night as the Rhody Rally and bonfire, so we<\/p>\n
need to figure out how we are going to handle it.<\/p>\n
II. Finance<\/p>\n
a. There is a Finance 101 meeting on 9\/21 t 8:00 p.m. in atrium 2 for all groups who want<\/p>\n
to attend.<\/p>\n
b. Allen needs a few more weeks with the inventory program.<\/p>\n
III. SOARC<\/p>\n
a. we have to look over Student Organization Handbook<\/p>\n
b. new \u201clevels\u201d for groups: RAMS (reworded so there is no hierarchy, trying to remove<\/p>\n
loopholes)<\/p>\n
1. R- recreation<\/p>\n
2. A- academic<\/p>\n
3. M- mass media and government<\/p>\n
4. S- possibly skills<\/p>\n
c. A couple of groups may not get a budget though they have before.<\/p>\n
