Academic<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fielding complaints, talking to deans<\/li>\n<li>Putting poster up in Hope through reading days, posters already up in all the dorms<\/li>\n<li>Mass email campaign<\/li>\n<li>Going to sit down with deans, Provost, ombud before the end of the year<\/li>\n<li>Budget set aside for college readership, going to fix kiosks over the summer<\/li>\n<li>Maybe set up longer contract so that price of newspapers does not increase exponentially<\/li>\n<li>Going to talk to Paul Whitney in bookstore for next year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>II. Finance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Going to have a committee meeting after or during finals to discuss next year<\/li>\n<li>Problem with groups trying to rush things last minute<\/li>\n<li>Summer budget done (8 groups)<\/li>\n<li>We have NO money<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>III. Secretary<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kudos: Giana has done basically everything for Rammies<\/li>\n<li>Bedard for script?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IV. Campus<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 bills<\/li>\n<li>Survey results steady across race (560 people)<\/li>\n<li>Going to change resolves in arming police bill to make them more specific<\/li>\n<li>Bill supporting research site 7-0-0<\/li>\n<li>Most people on exec do not support<\/li>\n<li>Carothers even said we do not need to build it<\/li>\n<li>Do the ends justify the means?<\/li>\n<li>Will building facility destabilize land?<\/li>\n<li>Bill should say that we want to protect forest for all time but we support research facility being built on another location<\/li>\n<li>This option has a consensus from exec and bill on floor will be amended to reflect this new bill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>V. Cultural<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rammy\u2019s are tomorrow- senate should be there at 6 p.m. Everything is set<\/li>\n<li>Multi-cultural roundtable October 18<sup>th<\/sup> to address diversity and such.<\/li>\n<li>No updates on dance crew<\/li>\n<li>First Night looking good<\/li>\n<li>Budget Brigade<\/li>\n<li>Senate might be having pens for elections\/First Night<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VI. SOARC<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lisa Chen sent link to Kim to get student organization website up and running<\/li>\n<li>If you have any thoughts on level changes talk to Katherine or Dave<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VII. Vice President<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BBQ location up in the air<\/li>\n<li>Retreat Sunday, September 27<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Committee minutes\/attendance must go to Vidhi\u2019s email<\/li>\n<li>These are due Friday at noon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VIII.
