Going to make or buy a program so that it is on the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Finding a way to computerize forms (i.e. purchase requests, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>At dances have tickets with the cashbox so that we know how many people are actually attending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SOARC<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Changing the names of the levels because we don\u2019t want the idea of a hierarchy. Also want to change the descriptions, make them simpler. This should be done before the fall.<\/li>\n<li>Keep on top of groups for re-recognition.<\/li>\n<li>Inform groups of deadlines and responsibilities so things run smoothly (especially during transitions between presidents).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Academic<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get more student input; have Provost get Student Advisory Committee in Academic Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize college reps more.<\/li>\n<li>Have people respond through website (like complaint forms).<\/li>\n<li>Exam Rights Campaign- We hope it\u2019s a success so that we can do it next year!!<\/li>\n<li>Reform IDEA\u2019s again, preferably add some questions we think are important.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>External<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue with the lawsuit throughout the summer.<\/li>\n<li>Branch out to community more, create a face to outside community. Block parties and intramural teams within neighborhoods can facilitate this.<\/li>\n<li>Meet with Coalition<\/li>\n<li>Create a positive image of our students\/ unite community.<\/li>\n<li>Bring a guest speaker- police officer explaining what to do and what not to do when dealing with police officers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cultural<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a cultural roundtable with multi-cultural presidents sometime in September.<\/li>\n<li>Run Holiday Fair (October or February)<\/li>\n<li>Have a show with 500 Family with some performers from America\u2019s Best Dance Crew<\/li>\n<li>Rammie\u2019s again!!<\/li>\n<li>State of the University Address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Campus<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comment forms online<\/li>\n<li>Dorm security<\/li>\n<li>Northwoods<\/li>\n<li>GPS bus tracking<\/li>\n<li>Sports facilities (budget management)<\/li>\n<li>Ellery Pond<\/li>\n<li>Lands and ground (ice\/ flooding)<\/li>\n<li>Parking violations<\/li>\n<li>Student loan timetable\/ interest<\/li>\n<li>Online voting<\/li>\n<li>Safety and lighting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DOC<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with groups more (advertising) and website on facebook<\/li>\n<li>Help senators to utilize the position of DOC, teach them about uses<\/li>\n<li>Update information out on campus about Senate<\/li>\n<li>Make freshmen aware of Senate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treasurer<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pay the bills<\/li>\n<li>Make a more effective, balanced budget (use a debit\/credit system using Excel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vice President<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay on planning social events (BBQ, formal, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Make sure attendance and minutes from committee meetings are complete and in on time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>President<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Same as committees\u2019 goals<\/li>\n<li>\u201cDon\u2019t become complacent!!\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Work with new President of the University and establish a relationship, meet at least twice over the summer<\/li>\n<li>Connect with freshmen at Freshmen Institute<\/li>\n<li>Make sure everyone pulls his or her weight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attendance: Bedard, Simon, Sinapi, Harrington, Boiteau, Clarke, Aronoff, Coates, Holland, Petit Call to Order: 7:30 p.m. Location: The Mews!! &nbsp; Finance Inventory- Need an official inventory because was not done for past few years.
