\nCollege Liasions<\/strong>
\nChairwoman King: A project I would like SOARC and Academic to work on for next year is to find funding for academic groups.
\nFirst step talking to the deans and finding out how to actually fund them.
\nMost student orgs aren\u2019t active enough for the college to keep track of active groups. CELS suggested when we do re-rec that we let the colleges know which one are actually active and their status.
\nSend each college during re-rec, a list of active academic groups to the college and give them a person to contact<\/p>\n

\nMaking new binders for next semester
\nResource on whats going on in the college, contact information, clubs associated with the college, majors associated with the college
\nMake a section on what you should talk to your dean about each month
\nFirst thing to do next semester, is talk about funding for academic groups
\n\u201cHow to talk to your dean about funding\u201d
\n\u201cWhat to talk to your dean about\u201d
\nWhen emailing your dean the report when you met with them, cc all the other deans for the college
\nBio and contact info page of every single person in the college- including professors for academic complaints

\nAll forms such as add\/drop forms \u2013 but be wary of ones that can become outdated
\nWhen do your switch from UC to your actual college

Faculty Senate<\/strong>
\nTomorrow \u2013 Meeting at 3-5 at Cherry Auditorium in Kirk
\nCollege of Health Sciences \u2013 new college they are voting on. Could be super helpful.
\nAmending part of their manual for in case of emergency \u2013 Already in effect, as long as they let us know
\nChairwoman Oliver is trying to get a summary of all open liaison positions for faculty senate<\/p>\n

\nPlease attend the student summit! It will count as attending an Academic Affairs meeting
\nNo meeting next week because we will be at summit!<\/p>\n
