{"id":5297,"date":"2016-02-18T09:48:39","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T14:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/studentsenate\/?p=5297"},"modified":"2016-02-18T09:48:39","modified_gmt":"2016-02-18T14:48:39","slug":"external-1-27-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/studentsenate\/external-1-27-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"External 1-27-2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MEETING START TIME: <\/strong>5:48<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENDANCE: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Committee: <\/strong>Montecalvo, Kim, Porter, Bailey, Milliner, Donnelly, Lawrence, Bertel<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absent:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Non-Committee<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\"><strong>Narragansett Town Council<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">The town manager, Pamela Nolan, has passed away\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Chairwoman Montecalvo and President Rode will be working on a condolence card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\"><strong>Planning Board, Narragansett<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">8 February 2016 there is a planning board meeting at Narragansett Town Hall<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">President Rode will be speaking at this meeting\n<ul>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Committee members should create questions on topics that should be addressed for next committee meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">A large student body is wanted to represent at this meeting<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">DOMR and President Rode are working on spreading information to the student body<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">This meeting will be strictly upon the ordinance changes<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">17 February 2016, this will be brought to the Town Council<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">Senator Donnelly may be going and has offered car pooling for the committee<\/li>\n<li class=\"minutes_text\">The Town Council may be voting upon the planning board recommendations over Spring break. Date is tentative.
