    2. Meeting time and place: classes in Fascitelli fitness center, Thursday at 7<\/li>\n
    3. Members \u2013 12 consistent members<\/li>\n
    4. Elections held to our standards: No, did not hold secret ballot. Held elections by hand raising.<\/li>\n
    5. Purpose: focus on Brazilian martial arts. Combine dance, into martial arts<\/li>\n
    6. Goals: increase cultural awareness on campus. Promote diversity bring cultural background to campus.\u00a0 Increase outreach and hold classes at other schools.<\/li>\n
    7. Failed re-recognition due to the group falling apart and lack of participation\n
        \n
      1. Classes were not very visible<\/li>\n
      2. Involvement tapered off<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Also recommended by committee that the group hold regular meetings outside of classes.<\/li>\n
      4. RECOMMENDATION: re-open nominations and conduct elections by secret ballot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          2. Meeting time and place: want to meet Tuesdays at 12:30. Trying to get room with memorial union.<\/li>\n

          5. Purpose:<\/li>\n
          6. Goals: try to set up bi-weekly tournaments<\/li>\n
          7. Group has their own pool sticks that are less fragile.<\/li>\n

                • In existence since 1998.\u00a0 Put together yearbook, assemble photos and information.\u00a0 Marketed mostly toward seniors.\u00a0 All of the proceeds go to making the yearbook.\u00a0 Sold around 230 yearbooks last year.\u00a0 Yearbook documents events on campus and displays how the university has changed over the years.\u00a0 Have yet to complete the 2015 yearbook.<\/li>\n

                  • Conducts meetings.\u00a0 Meets outside company representatives.\u00a0 Oversee the yearbook staff.\u00a0 Ensure that the yearbook is good quality.\u00a0 Liaison to Jostens and Prestige.<\/li>\n

                                  • Assigns coverage for sports at the university and other major games.\u00a0 Make sure that there are the available resources to provide coverage and that the reporter is capable of performing the coverage well.\u00a0 Currently have 18 subordinates.\u00a0 Only provider of Rams Basketball and Baseball (not broadcast anywhere else).\u00a0 Sports programming is a major contribution to the radio broadcast.\u00a0 Contacts other schools and procures credentials to enable reporters to travel to other schools for reporting.<\/li>\n
                                  • Differs from RIU2.\u00a0 RIU2 is online and is useful for helping new members to gain experience and proficiency and eventually move up to FM.<\/li>\n

                                    • Manages sports for online radio.\u00a0 Handles soccer, rugby and other sports that the FM Sports does not broadcast.\u00a0 Helps cover the sports that could not be covered by any other method.\u00a0 Currently has 17 subordinates.\u00a0 Individually teaches subordinates how to perform their duties.\u00a0 RIU2 introduces students to the concept of radio station broadcasting.\u00a0 Gives students members experience at broadcasting.\u00a0 Much more open and informal group.<\/li>\n
