\u25cf Discussed Obama\u2019s \u201cDear Colleague\u201d letter
\n\u25cf Obama lowered the standard of proof for sexual assault victim cases
\n\u25cf Under Obama College campuses not abiding by the title 9 rules and recommendations would potentially lose federal fundings
\n\u25cf Betsy Devos by withdrawing these protections, is making it harder for sexual assault victims to get justice.
\n\u25cf Betsy Devos wants the accusers to get due process and she is raising the standard of proof<\/p>\n
2. Sexual assault on campus<\/p>\n
\u25cf A girl was recently raped by an armed hitchhiker following \u2018the migos\u2019 concert
\n\u25cf There was an article written by the 5 Cent Cigar about a girl who was raped at a greek
\nhouse, and she claimed that nothing was done about it.<\/p>\n
3. Initiative to protect potential victims of sexual assaults on campus<\/p>\n
\u25cf Talk to established personels and\/or departments who are responsible for responding to
\nsexual assault allegations.
\n\u25cf We will contact the newly formed advisory council for sexual assault. Kathy Collins and
\nPresident Buck are members of that council.
\n\u25cf We will do more research regarding this issue, and in turn write an opinion bill requesting
\nPresident Dooley to adhere by Obama Era rules regarding sexual assaults
\n\u25cf Thinking about showing the movie \u201c The hunting ground\u201d about sexualt assault
\n4. Blue Light and Safety Walk
\n\u25cf Date and time to be determined, we are thinking early October
\n\u25cf We will invite usual guests like President Dooley
\n5. Handicap accessibility
\n\u25cf What buildings are and are not handicapped accessible
