Murray<\/p>\n<p><strong>Non-Committee:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DISCUSSION: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NEASC<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finished today and it looks like all went well<\/li>\n<li>Their report is located online for people to search for<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Library Liaison<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vice-Chair Morabito has completed the first step of the three step process of being certified to work the laser engraver<\/li>\n<li>It was also reported that the Maker\u2019s_Space also has a wikipedia page describing the equipment that is available to students\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/space.apps.uri.edu\/wiki\">http:\/\/space.apps.uri.edu\/wiki<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Hours need to put online, certification requirements should be online, take instructions off of wikipedia because anyone can change that<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Liaisons<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your monthly reports to Chairman Temple, CIO Taylor, and Coordinator Yip<\/li>\n<li>Send a heads up if there are any problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Indigenous People\u2019s Day<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chairman Temple is sending emails to gain more information before going to faculty\n<ul>\n<li>They have not been the most helpful as of now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>More research is needed<\/li>\n<li>Faculty Senate in November is the goal date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Faculty Senate Constitution<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Giving Academic some power on the floor of the Faculty Senate\n<ul>\n<li>Committee consensus to give the power to the Academic Affairs Chair instead of any designee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Academic Bylaws<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We want to meet before Bylaws Committee goes over the committee section of the bylaws in order to discuss what we would want to with our bylaws<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Book Store Survey<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bookstore is sending a representative either next week or the week after in regards to our input on surveys<\/li>\n<li>Affordability of the bookstore and the use of the bookstore as a resource<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nursing<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trouble meeting with the Dean\u2019s assistant for the month of October<\/li>\n<li>No feedback on email that Senator Needle sent the College of Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Let Chairman Temple know if there are an problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Attendance Policies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nothing we can officially change because otherwise it would violate academic freedom<\/li>\n<li>Instead of getting rid of attendance policies instead go against those that force students to buy programs just to take
