As a chapter they will promote rights for students on the URI campus. Allows free speech and expression for people all around world and they will bring that to the URI campus.<\/li>\n<li>Action: must submit their constitution and online application before a recommendation can be given.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>URI Capoeira Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Goal: Afro-Brazilian martial art that includes music, art, and other aspects. Good for mind growth and physical growth. Fostering diversity and is a safe space for learning and growth.<\/li>\n<li>Member: 19<\/li>\n<li>Meeting: once a week<\/li>\n<li>Elections: Held to standards<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation: funded (8-0-0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Korean Student Association<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Came regarding their frozen budget.<\/li>\n<li>Lack of communication from the former executive council to the new council.<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation to unfreeze budget on the 23rd of April (8-0-0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Extra<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>New URI Student Senate welcome packet<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New and concise packet that will be available to all students to make sure they are updated on student senate info and their responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Annual General Senate meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Presidents meeting Monday April 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trying out a new structure to make the meeting more efficient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Plan to work on model constitutions for the future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adjournment: 4:40<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Start: 3:32 Members: Austin Cordova, Amanda Marino, Laura Creese, Lexi Evers, Caroline Farrow, Ben Bennett, Ryan Bjorklund Absent: Wahab Alquirtas Group Discussion Club softball Came regarding their froze budget.
