FLM 351: Imagining Narrative Film

This course is designed for students who have already taken basic courses in film/video production and are interested in further investigating the process of making a fictional narrative film. This course will explore the basic steps in preparing to develop a film for production and these processes will then be applied to the development of original narrative fictional film. This class will focus on the process of conceptualizing the film from the initial premise, through character, set, and storyboarding exploration, to the point where the shooting of the film can begin. May be repeated for a maximum of 12 credits with permission of the director and change of topic. *No prerequisites required*
