Will Theatre, URI Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">A MIDSUMMER NIGHT\u2019S DREAM directed by Tracy Liz Miller<\/span><\/strong><br>First Rehearsal for A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream: Saturday, December 13, 12 &#8211; 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Callbacks for Midsummer are on Wednesday, December 10, 12 &#8211; 4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please prepare one 75-90 second Shakespeare monologue or sonnet. The cast will be comprised of <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/theatre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1491\/Midsummer-Fact-Sheet-FINAL.pdf\">13 actors<\/a> that will all be double cast. There will be 7 understudies to cover the entirety of the characters. Cast actors will be working in an environment that is highly physical and utilizes creative movement. Hand-to-hand combat and jazz dance will be involved. There is potential intimacy for the four lovers (Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius), Theseus, Oberon, Titania, and Bottom. The four lovers will also have to be comfortable stripping down to period underwear (full coverage).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">RIDE THE CYCLONE directed by Rachel Walshe<\/span><\/strong><br>First Rehearsal for Ride the Cyclone: Saturday, February 28, 12 &#8211; 4 p.m.<br>Callbacks for Ride the Cyclone are on Monday, December 8th, 6:30 p.m. &#8211; 10 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please prepare a \u201832 bar\u2019 musical theatre song corresponding to the character range and genre you\u2019d like to audition for.
