TSA is Open Involvement<\/h2>

The Transfer Student Association is URI’s student-led organization for transfer students. TSA is a place to meet people, attend events, socialize, ask questions, and get more comfortable at URI.

TSA is also a leadership opportunity. Incoming and current transfer students can help shape the organization around what transfer students need most, including events, peer connection, outreach, resource sharing, and community-building.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Tau Sigma is Invited Recognition<\/h2>

Tau Sigma is URI’s national transfer honor society. It recognizes transfer students who demonstrate strong academic achievement after beginning at URI.

TSA is open to students who want connection, involvement, and leadership. Tau Sigma is for students who are invited after meeting eligibility requirements.

During your first full semester at URI. earned a 3.5 GPA, & become eligible for Tau Sigma recognition.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Incoming Transfer Students Can Help Shape TSA<\/h1>\n\n

The Transfer Student Organization (TSA) is growing, and incoming transfer students are encouraged to take an active role. <\/strong>This is an opportunity to help shape TSA to meet transfer students’ needs most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students interested in events, communications, peer connection, outreach, social activities, welcoming new transfer students, or helping other transfers find support are encouraged to get involved. Current transfer students are also welcome to express interest in leadership and ambassador roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Possible leadership areas include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
