{"id":100,"date":"2025-08-10T12:43:31","date_gmt":"2025-08-10T16:43:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/translanguaging-lab\/?page_id=100"},"modified":"2025-08-25T02:22:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T06:22:25","slug":"jones","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/translanguaging-lab\/people\/jones\/","title":{"rendered":"Natakki Jones"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Academic Background &amp; Research Interests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Natakki&nbsp;is a Doctoral student in the University of Rhode Island\u2019s College of Education.&nbsp;She is interested in comparative and international education, focusing on the variety of ways that set education in countries and systems apart.&nbsp;With a background in K-6 elementary education and some experience in Special Education,&nbsp;Natakki&nbsp;is interested in examining the global inequities, as well as institutional, and cultural factors that impact a student\u2019s education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Natakki&nbsp;holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Quinnipiac University. She is currently a graduate assistant and instructor for the Education Department at URI.
