Prior to her pursuit of her PhD, Cassie earned her bachelor\u2019s in elementary education and her minor in leadership studies at URI. She then earned her master\u2019s in TESOL also from URI. In addition to her experience working with 5th-8th grade MLLs, Cassie also has experience as a kindergarten and first grade general educator. Her time spent in the classroom has always been working in urban communities with high populations of MLLs. I love all kinds of crafts like collaging, painting, and journaling.
