All Faculty\/Staff and Affiliate parking permits expire on July 31st each year. To obtain\/renew your permit, log into your account here <\/a> after June 15th. <\/b><\/p>\n

For faculty and staff who need access to West Alumni & White Hall, please fill out this form<\/a> for gate access.<\/p>\n

All cars parked in a URI lot must have a valid parking permit. Faculty and staff parking lots are marked in gold on the Kingston campus map<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Permits held by faculty and staff must be renewed on a yearly basis. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Your License Plate Is Your Parking Permit<\/h2>\n

URI uses license plate recognition<\/a> to verify registered vehicles. Please park with your license plate facing outward, and be sure that it isn’t obstructed by license plate covers, stickers, or debris. It is imperative that you keep your license plate updated to avoid receiving a ticket. <\/p>\n

If you have a symbol in your plate, enter the plate number without the symbol. For disabled license plates, enter \u201cDV\u201d or \u201cDP” before the plate number. For example: DPSAMPLE<\/p>\nOrder Your Parking Permit<\/a>\n

Information You’ll Need<\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll need your URI SSO (Single Sign-On) credentials to login, (for more information about SSO or to reset your password, please click here).<\/a> To register your vehicle, you’ll need its license plate number, make, and model.<\/p>\n

Avoid a Ticket<\/h3>\n

Your license plate must be visible at all times. Pulling through or backing into parking spaces is no longer permitted.<\/p>\n

Take extra care to accurately enter your license plate number when purchasing your permit through uri.aimsparking.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Park in a lot designated for faculty and staff and obtain your permit before bringing your car on campus.<\/p>\n

Never park on hash lines or in a fire lane. Only park in a designated parking lot (between two white lines, not on hash lines, sidewalks or in the dirt\/grass)<\/p>\n

What to do if you get a parking ticket<\/a><\/p>\n

Keep Your Vehicle Information Current<\/h3>\n

It is important that your vehicle information is up-to-date. If you get a new vehicle or your license plate number changes, update it at uri.aimsparking.com<\/a>. If you bring a different vehicle to campus, you must update your vehicle information BEFORE bringing that car to campus.   Failure to do so, will result in a $10 fine.   <\/p>\n
