Formicola, Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Joseph G. Formicola, Jr., \u201969, has deep roots in Rhode Island and is a dedicated<br>supporter of the University of Rhode Island. With a career spanning over five<br>decades in the real estate industry, he has been deeply involved in brokering,<br>developing, and constructing real estate projects throughout the United States.<br>Mr. Formicola is the President\/CEO of Executive Investments and Realty Company<br>and is a co-owner of the well-known Coast Guard House restaurant in Narragansett,<br>RI. Joe has made significant contributions throughout his extensive involvement<br>with the University. A graduate of the School of Business, he served on the<br>Executive Committee of the URI Foundation Board for nearly 24 years from 1989<br>to 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Mr. Formicola held the position of President of the URI Athletic<br>Association and played an important role as the chairman of the Major Donor<br>Committee, helping secure private funding for the Ryan Center. Beyond his<br>contributions to the University, he was the founder of the Narragansett<br>Chamber of Commerce, twice elected as its President, and is presently the<br>longest standing member of the Narragansett Lion\u2019s Club.
