Relay Service at 711.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">[themify_hr color=&#8221;light-gray&#8221; width=&#8221;50%&#8221; border_width=&#8221;1px&#8221;]<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Francesco Bartolucci is a 1995 graduate of the University of Perugia with a degree in economics. \u00a0In 1999, \u00a0he also earned his doctorate in statistical and mathematical methods from the University of Perugia.<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In 2007, Bartolucci became a full professor of statistics in the Department of Economics at the University of Perugia, teaching statistics for undergraduate students and an advanced course on regression methods for graduate students. From 2007 to 2012 he was the coordinator of the university&#8217;s Ph.D. program in mathematical and statistical methods for the economic and social sciences. He is an academic board member of the University of Rome&#8217;s Ph.D. program in econometrics and empirical economics at the University of Rome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Previously, Bartolucci served as an assistant professor of statistics in the Department of Political Science at the University of Perugia and an associate professor of statistics in the Department of Economics at the University of Urbino and at the University of Perugia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Bartolucci&#8217;s primary research interests include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">longitudinal data analysis;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">mixture and latent variable models;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">marginal models for categorical data;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">optimization and Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 4, 2017 5:30 p.m. Lecture Richard E.
