Once approved (usually within 24 hours), you will be able to request rooms in the Higgins Welcome Center.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<a class=\"cl-button   prominent\" href=\"http:\/\/muevents.uri.edu\/EmsWebApp\/\" title=\"\">EMS Room Request Portal<\/a>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Step 3: Receive confirmation<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once your room request is reviewed and approved by the Higgins Welcome Center reservation team,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px\">you will receive a confirmation email and be able to view the event on the Higgins Welcome Center calendar&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with the status &#8220;confirmed&#8221; or &#8220;confirmed-web.&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&nbsp; <strong>Please note that all requests for the Meeting Room are automatically confirmed.<\/strong> Confirmation of the Meeting Room requests can be found on your EMS portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><section class=\"cl-wrapper cl-boxout-wrapper\"><div class=\"cl-boxout  \"><h1>Need catering?<\/h1><p><a href=\"http:\/\/web.uri.edu\/catering\">URI Catering<\/a> is making some exciting changes, including the implementation of an <em>all new<\/em> menu!
