Welcome to the URI President’s Commission on People with Disabilities… Disability IS Diversity

The President’s Commission on People with Disabilities (PCPD) was established September 2013 by President David Dooley, and was based on the proposal prepared by the “Working Group to Establish a [President’s Commission on People with Disabilities]” in July 2013.  The PCPD includes representatives from the student population, staff, faculty, and administration who are concerned about issues related to all types of accessibility for people with disabilities at the University of Rhode Island.  Members are appointed by the President.
