Apply for the Student Senate Scholarship

The Student Senate Scholarships are based on financial need and participation in the URI community In order to apply you must be at least a junior in standing, demonstrate financial need, have a GPA higher than a 2.5 and be in at least one recognized organization. In addition you must submit a 500 word essay answering the following question or questions.
Student Senate Recognized Organization
Explain the impact that your experience or interactions with the Student Senate (groups) have had on you? How have you used this personal growth to give back to the URI community?
Zompa (Greek) Scholarship
Explain the impact that your experience or interactions with the Greek organizations have had on you? How have you used this personal growth to give back to the URI community?
Deadline:
Requirements:
- The applicant must be an undergraduate of at least junior standing.
- The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
- The applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- The applicant must be actively involved in at least 1 Student Senate recognized group or Greek organization.
- Please attach a copy of your transcript and a list of activities you have participated in and any awards/distinctions received while at URI.
- Must submit a 500 word essay covering your involvement in your organization.(see question above)
