Academic Advising Resources

The B.S. in Biotechnology prepares students for professional careers in the rapidly growing biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, biomedical, and life sciences industries. Students develop a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology techniques, data analysis, and professional skills, with opportunities to apply their knowledge through hands-on laboratory and experiential learning. The major includes a required experiential learning component that provides students with opportunities to gain practical, industry- or research-based experience. Students also complete upper-level biotechnology coursework and professional development experiences designed to connect their academic preparation with workforce expectations.
