Biography

I have a strong passion in helping people become the best versions of themselves and it is my goal to empower others to make choices that feel right for them. I have experience working with all ages, abilities, cultures, and backgrounds. For over 12 years, I have committed myself in supporting families and students with special needs develop life skills and reach their highest potential of independence. Now, I dedicate my time in supporting Undeclared students develop a roadmap towards success. I am an alumni of the Talent Development Program and my desire to impact students is a way of giving back for the impact that my academic and TD advisors had on me. Returning to my alma mater and using my skills, knowledge, and experience to help students at the University of Rhode Island is a tremendous privilege for me. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and an MAT, with concentrations in Elementary Education and Special Education, from Rhode Island College. When I am not playing the role of a supporter and advocator, I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. My door is open and I welcome all students.
