Maintaining a healthy society is about much more than the relationship between patients and doctors. General health is dependent on a myriad of factors — access to proper health care, proximity to clean water and air, quality of education, access to economic opportunities, safety of one’s community and workplace, etc. The different conditions under which people live help explain why some are generally healthier than others.

  • Building Primary Care Capacity: The Mandate for Change - Presented by Diana J. Mason, RN, PhD, FAAN, 7/24/2018

What differentiates the U.S from the world’s highest performing, lowest cost health care systems? One key element is the international focus on a strong foundation in primary care. Yet to move to this model in the U.S requires an enormous transformation in the way care is organized, delivered and reimbursed. It also lays the foundation for upcoming presentations on telehealth and virtual care.
