GPU Server
The URI AI Lab provides access to Nvidia DGX-1, a high-performance GPU (graphics processing unit) server. A GPU server is useful in developing a deep learning application as it accelerates the training process of an artificial neural network by providing a great deal of processing power suited for matrix computations. The DGX-1 offers 256 GB GPU memory.
AI Workstations
The URI AI Lab has six Lambda Tensorbooks and one DELL PC. These workstations are suitable for developing deep learning applications. Lambda Tensorbooks run Ubuntu OS and are preinstalled with AI development frameworks, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Caffe 2, Keras, CUDA, and cuDNN.
