Online courses benefit from Peer Review. Department chairs and peers can use this fillable Online Course Evaluation Rubric to evaluate online courses as they would for an on campus course. The rubric may be used as is or customized to fit your department’s specific needs.
The rubric is divided into three sections:
- Course Site Design includes ease of navigation, consistency, and logic in navigating the Brightspace site.
- Instructor Communication includes an evaluation of instructor accessibility, timeliness, and communication with students.
- Content Delivery examines instructor to student engagement, peer to peer engagement, and student engagement with the course material.
