Biography

Melissa joins the ATL Team as the Marketing and Communications GA. Previously, she worked as a communications specialist for the URI Honors Program and has also run digital marketing teams for companies including Iron Mountain, IBM, BitSight Technologies and Sonrai Security. Melissa is a student in the GSLIS program, pursuing her MLIS with plans to become a school librarian. She also works at the Cranston Public Library as a Children’s Librarian and wishes she could read every book in the collection.

Primary Responsibilities:

• maintain the ATL website
• manage the monthly newsletter
• create and manage the visual identity of ATL
• build awareness of the ATL mission and promote opportunities for engagement
