ATL’s AI Workshops

Fun-sized faculty development focused on AI: Are you looking for a quick hit of professional development this semester? ATL has a series of short, AI-related workshops that are packed with tips you can use in the classroom right away. These sessions are perfect for those who are feeling time-crunched but still want to learn how they can incorporate AI into their classroom. Descriptions are below for each session.

All sessions will be held from 9:00am – 10:00am via Zoom.

AI at URI: September 18

Learn the tools available at URI. Learn what they do. Learn how to access them.

Using AI to Support your Academic Values: October 23 

In this workshop, we will explore a method for adopting AI in supporting academic values such as critical thinking and creativity.

AI and Assignment Design: November 13

In this workshop, we will explore integrating AI into an assignment and communicating the proper use of AI to students in a transparent way.
