Whether planning for a new course or redesigning an existing one, we generally ask ourselves:
- Who are my students?
- What do they need to learn?
- What role does my course play within their degree curriculum and their overall experience at URI?
- What are the resources, spaces, and teaching modalities I can work with?
- What are the key characteristics of the involved subject, teachers, and learners?
- What other institutional and contextual circumstances inform the choices I can make?
