We work with instructors who wish to balance disciplinary norms, content, and socialization with their commitment to social justice. Our role is to help instructors maintain rigor while promoting equity. We help align pedagogical practice with values. This is also where we help instructors navigate institutional pressures and connect to institutional initiatives.

This workshop is for instructors who are new to URI and want to launch a successful – inclusive and effective – teaching career at URI.
