Part 2: Revitalization Through Intentional Rest
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Looking for some revitalization? Instructors face many challenges and pressures that can lead to burnout or decreased well-being. This two-part workshop series is designed to empower faculty with the knowledge and tools necessary to recognize the signs of burnout, understand the importance of various types of rest, and create a personalized plan for achieving greater well-being and vitality.
Bring your lunch and join colleagues for thoughtful discussion. We’ll provide coffee, tea, and dessert!
You can join an individual session, though participation in both sessions will likely yield maximum benefits. Please note that space is limited for each session. You will be sent a Google Calendar invitation for each session.
Program Outcomes
Participants engaging with both parts of this workshop will:
- Identify ways to address burnout and support vitality.
- Articulate at least three types of rest that apply to your life situation.
- Develop a tentative strategy for adding periods of rest within your life.
- Build relationships with colleagues.
