Asynchronous/Synchronous Bootcamp

This intensive 1-week workshop will equip you to create a mixed modality course, using asynchronous and synchronous activities and tools.

Please note: this course is NOT self-paced.  Each lesson operates with due dates for discussions and assignments, and to be successful, you must participate fully. One synchronous meeting is required – on the Tuesday from 2pm – 3:15pm. On all other days, there are asynchronous assignments due at 2pm. The experience of learning as an online student is beyond useful to a good online teacher; sitting in the seat of your students will open your eyes to their experience.

The course requires completion of the Basic Brightspace Training prior to enrollment.
