Biography
Associate Professor of Sociology; taught at URI since 2014; I have taught courses on research methods, aging, family, health, and demography. I have over 15 publications in peer-reviewed academic journals. I also teach courses in the URI OLLI program on personal knowledge management. faculty leader in the URI Cyber-Seniors program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- develop, lead, and facilitate ATL’s efforts in inclusive teaching and antiracist pedagogy
- work with staff members in faculty development
- support and facilitate workshops and seminars relating to equitable teaching and learning
