Samantha earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Rhode Island in 2025, graduating summa cum laude. She was also recognized with the Undergraduate Academic Excellence Award in Public Health. Prior to joining ATL, Samantha served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Anatomy & Physiology within URI’s Department of Biological Sciences, where she instructed undergraduate laboratory sections. Her experience also includes several years of work as an undergraduate teaching assistant and laboratory assistant, reflecting her strong commitment to student learning and educational excellence.

Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at URI, Samantha’s academic interests include health promotion, program development, and project management. She is particularly excited to bring a public health perspective to ATL’s work and contribute to programs that support the growth, well-being, and success of URI faculty.

Outside of work and school, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors, taking long walks, and exploring Rhode Island’s natural spaces. She also loves traveling, thrifting, journaling, and creating charcuterie boards for family and friends. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, Suki and Shadow, and her golden retriever, Jessie. One of her favorite places in Rhode Island is Tillinghast Pond in West Greenwich, a place she enjoys for hiking and relaxation.
