The goal of this course is to provide a platform for instructors to learn about pedagogical best practices for online courses and to reflect on creating a high-quality, engaging learning experience for students.

This course is ideal for instructors who have been selected to teach a course from a pre-built URI Online master shell.

Over the course of three weeks, instructors will learn a selection of online teaching principles and best practices. Instructors will develop a plan for teaching a URI Online course that includes initial preparation and personalization, facilitating student communications engagement, and supporting learning through effective and timely feedback.
