Thank-an-Instructor Program

URI’s Office for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning invites submissions for the Spring 2024 “Thank-an-Instructor” program. This program allows students to express appreciation for instructors who have positively impacted their educational journey in meaningful ways. We’re certain that your note will mean a lot!

Thank-you notes should only offer positive, supportive comments. Negative or inappropriate comments will not be shared with instructors. The Thank-an-Instructor program is not an evaluation of instructors, nor is it connected to any formal University process of instructor evaluation.

To Send a Thank-You: Submissions are closed. Please return to this webpage later for details on who received notes and for future program opportunities.

What We’ll Do: Your comments will be reviewed and sent to your instructor by the Office for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. Your comments may also appear in other marketing materials, with your consent. A selection of anonymous notes may be sent prior to final exams. Any notes which include a name will not be shared until after grades have been submitted.
