Biography

Dr. Freis-Beattie graduated with a PhD in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire specializing in Crime and Conflict. His research and teaching interests are focused on terrorism and extremist violence, violent crime, mass media, politics, and criminological theory. Previously, he taught at Northern Arizona University in
the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
