CUMC is a welcoming community of followers of Jesus. We invite you to join us for worship and fellowship regardless of history, identity, or status, as we are all made in the Creator’s image and much beloved.

  • 10 am Worship with Fellowship time following (to satisfy your sweet tooth and to get to know each other better)
  • URI Student-led Choir open to all ages and voices
  • On-line worship—Live on Sundays at 10am@YouTube–ChristUMC-RI United    Methodist Church
  • Thursday Bible Study—7pm—open to all
  • Young Adult Fellowship once a month following worship
  • Church/community events – Special engagement music & speakers, other events
  • Our facilities are open to community use for approved events/groups.  Call us to arrange for use.

We historically support the following groups and causes through our time & offerings:

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) – Host groups within our facility

Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County

Heifer International – economic development, women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, food security and nutrition

Jonnycake Center for Hope (Peace Dale, RI) – food security and nutrition, services

South County Habitat for Humanity (South County area, RI) – affordable housing, home ownership, housing rehabilitation

Welcome House of South County/The WARM Center – housing, support services

Are you looking for a quiet place to stop and pray or meditate on campus? Here are a couple of options that are available:
