The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that fall 2026 Commencement will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. in the Thomas M. Ryan Center. All undergraduate and graduate students who complete their degree requirements by the end of the fall semester are eligible to participate.
President Marc Parlange will preside over the ceremony, where degrees will be conferred. Participating graduates will have their names announced, cross the stage, and have professional photos taken.
To participate, registration is required by Oct. 21. The number of guest tickets allotted will be announced by Nov. 1 and will be based on the number of RSVPs and venue capacity. Graduates who register after the deadline will not be guaranteed guest tickets.
