The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that Fall 2025 Commencement will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in the Ryan Center. All undergraduate and graduate students who complete their degree requirements by the end of the fall semester are eligible to participate.

President Marc Parlange will preside over the ceremony, which features the conferral of degrees. Participating graduates will have their names announced, cross the stage, and have professional photos taken. Ceremony time is expected to be approximately 2 hours long.

Registration and Tickets

Each pre-registered graduate can bring up to eight guests to the ceremony. Registration is still open, but students who register after Nov. 1 may not be guaranteed tickets.

Participating graduates must wear academic regalia, available for purchase or order pickup at the URI Campus Store after December 1st.
