Aynur Esenova is a graduating senior from the College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Whilst at URI, Aynur has achieved several outstanding accomplishments. Most recently, she has started working with Dr. Matthew Bertin in his Marine Natural Products laboratory researching the chemistry, biosynthesis, and metabolics of natural resources. Outside the College of Pharmacy, Aynur was featured in the Hera Gallery, in Wakefield, due to her and her classmates’ initiative to raise money for Ukraine through art. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in laboratory research as she is passionate about finding new ways to help people through pharmaceutical sciences. She is grateful for her experience at URI and hopes to be back soon.
