All class of 2021 undergraduate and graduate students who are eligible for URI commencement are encouraged to decorate their caps and show their creativity and win prizes in one of these three categories:
- Rhody Pride
- URI Affiliation (academic department, student group or organization, etc.)
- Most Creative
How to Enter
Students can enter the cap contest by sharing photos of your decorated grad cap on Instagram using #MyURIcap, by direct messaging URI Instagram, or by emailing them to socialmedia@etal.uri.edu. Be sure to include which category you’re choosing. Submissions are due by Tuesday, September 28th at noon.
Selection
Winners will be chosen by a URI selection committee and cap submissions will be shared on the University’s social media.
Terms and Conditions
- Open to all graduating undergraduate and graduate students.
- Photos must include #myURIcap and one of the three categories to be eligible.
- Photos must be submitted through email or posting on social media.
- Winners will be chosen by a URI selection committee.
- Winners will be notified via email or direct message.
