COVID-19 vaccinations available on Kingston Campus for URI community

Get your vaccine May 6 at the Memorial Union.

All members of the URI community (students, including those from outside of Rhode Island, staff, and faculty) will be able to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine Thursday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Kingston Campus. The Moderna vaccine will be administered in Atrium 2 of the Memorial Union. If you have questions, please call Health Services at 401.874.2246.

Students who may be leaving URI soon can receive their first doses at this clinic and receive their second in their home states including Rhode Island.

  • Insurance information is optional.
  • Registration will close at noon Wednesday, May 5.
  • Participants will be observed for 15 minutes after vaccination and those who have had an anaphylactic (allergic) reaction in the past will be observed for 30 minutes.
  • A URL to schedule a second dose will be provided to those first dose participants waiting in the observation area. A second clinic will be held on June 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Memorial Union.
