Even more so than usual, it’s important to get your flu shot this year because of the dangers of the flu amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. URI Health Services is holding its next free flu clinic on Thursday, October 1.
Because of the pandemic, there is no walk-in service for the clinics. To limit the number of people at the clinic, everyone must register online to schedule an appointment. Appointments must be scheduled by noon the day before the clinic.
The Thursday, October 1, the clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students, faculty and staff will be seen in the Memorial Union Ballroom. Another flu clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students, faculty and staff will be seen in the Memorial Union Ballroom.
To register for a clinic, go to twc.thewellcomp.com/flu and click College/University. For the October 1 session, students enter uriking2
and faculty and staff enter urifac2
as the Login ID. For the October 20 clinic, all faculty, staff and students should enter uriking
as the Login ID.
For those planning to go to a flu clinic, Health Services stresses: if you are sick, stay home. Face coverings and physical distancing are required during the clinics. Remember, you must complete your daily health assessment before you arrive on campus.
