Eased parking restrictions, Mar. 16-22

In response to the rapidly changing events related to concerns around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the following parking regulations have been modified to better support students.

From March 16 through March 22 residential students who need to bring a vehicle to campus will not be required to have a parking permit. Resident students may park in any available student lot. Resident students who are actively moving belongings in or out will be allowed to park in any available legal parking space near their residence hall.

Commuter students who need to drive to campus do not need a permit during this time. Commuters may park in any available student parking lot.

Faculty and staff permit holders may park in any available lot on campus.

The Rhody Shuttle will remain available to the community during this time.

You can stay informed on matters related to the coronavirus by visiting the University’s COVID-19 website. The university is also operating an information hotline. Those with questions may dial 401.874.3082, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
