Biography

Vasilije Perovic, PhD, joined the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematical Sciences as an assistant professor in 2015. His primary research interests are in matrix theory and numerical linear algebra, especially in relation to nonlinear eigenvalue problems. His other academic interests include applications of (numerical) linear algebra to data science and development of scientific algorithms for shared/distributed memory systems.
