Biography

M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering

Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011, graduating with honors in the top 10% of his class, and his Master’s degree in 2013, both from the University of Rhode Island.

He participated in three summer research experiences in nanotechnology at universities in Japan and Cornell University in NY. His academic interests include nanotechnology, MEMS devices and nanoscale fabrication and metrology. As a graduate student, he is investigating the thermal and electrical response of carbon nanotubes using both quasi-static and dynamic loading methods.

In his free time, Chris enjoys playing guitar, growing beards, and playing table tennis.
